🍕 Regulatory Data Team at Turknet

We’re looking for an experienced Regulatory Data Lead who will lead a cross-functional team while actively contributing as a hands-on senior data analyst/engineer. This role combines technical leadership with deep involvement in data analysis and regulatory reporting, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable compliance solutions.

💻Responsibilities

• Act as a hands-on senior data contributor by analyzing complex datasets, building queries, and directly contributing to critical regulatory outputs.
• Lead a cross-functional team (Data, Test, Engineering) to design and deliver high-quality data tools and compliance solutions.
• Collaborate with other leaders, architects and product managers to build scalable and integrated data products.
• Proactively identify and drive improvements across people, processes, technology and delivery.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices and modern data technologies.
• Design and maintain scalable data models and ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability across regulatory reporting systems. 
• Personally contribute to data analysis, SQL development, and reporting pipelines for critical regulatory deliverables. 
• Lead your team to understand regulatory requirements as well as the product requirements and the corresponding systems.
• Plan and monitor tasks for your team members for upcoming sprints and releases in Agile methodology.
• Design review, code review, troubleshooting, and technical guidance to the team members.
• Complete ownership and accountability of the quality and timely delivery of the tasks assigned to your team.
• Collaborate with your team members, internal stakeholders such as team leads, product managers, senior management and legal department, as well as external stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality data and efficient workflows. 
• Define, improve and follow best practices and processes related to design, code review, testing, and documentation for the team.

👩 👨 Who You Are

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and data engineering preferably in Telecom domain.
• 3+ years of experience in team leadership or mentoring roles.
• Strong understanding of telecom regulatory frameworks (e.g., BTK) and experience translating regulatory requirements into data and reporting solutions.
• Advanced SQL Skills and strong experience in data modelling, and large-scale data analysis
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, reporting systems, and data quality management.
• Experience working in Agile environments within cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

✅ Must-Haves

• Experience with telecom data domains.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting standards and audit processes. 
• Experience with big data technologies.
