👩 👨 Who You Are 

  • Actively monitor the performance, availability, and health of IT systems, applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
  • Manage alerts and metrics using tools such as Zabbix, Site24x7, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
  • Identify false-positive and repetitive alerts to improve overall alert quality.
  • Perform initial incident response, conduct preliminary analysis, and coordinate with the relevant teams.
  • Manage incidents, escalations, and on-call processes within Opsgenie.
  • Collect data for monthly incident reviews (post-incident, post-mortem), align results with stakeholders, and prepare documentation.
  • Track operational metrics such as MTTR and MTTA; contribute to dashboard development efforts.
  • Identify automation opportunities within monitoring processes (Power Automate, Ansible AWX, etc.).
  • Perform active/passive alert monitoring within a 24/7 operational structure and shift-based working model.

 

✅ Must-Haves 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Monitoring, IT Operations, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of alert management, incident handling, and basic root cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with or the ability to quickly adopt tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Site24x7, Elasticsearch, and Opsgenie.
  • Basic administration knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of fundamental network concepts such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
  • Ability to read or write basic SQL / PostgreSQL queries.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate efficiently across different operational teams.
  • Analytical mindset, fast learner, and result-oriented.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
  • English reading and writing skills at minimum B1–B2 level.
  • Basic TCP/IP knowledge

 

Nice-to-Have

  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with middleware or application monitoring.
  • Experience building SLA/SLI and MTTR/MTTA dashboards in Grafana.
  • Familiarity with Opsgenie integrations or webhook-based automation workflows
